Operating Procedures

• Start-Up:
  • Ensure control lever is neutral and emergency button disengaged.
  • Turn ignition key to “ON” (oil pressure alarm will buzz).
  • In cold conditions, use “Heat” position before starting.
  • Start engine and adjust speed to 2800 rpm before engaging vibration.
• Operation Technique:
  • Compact in layers of 300 mm (soil should be moist).
  • Avoid over-compaction; stop once desired density is achieved.
  • Always keep machine moving during vibration—never vibrate on hard cement or slippery surfaces.
  • Use smooth, overlapping passes for uniform compaction.
• Emergency Stop:
  • Push the emergency button to stop the machine (not to be used as a brake).
• Shut-Down:
  • Slowly return travel control lever to “0”.
  • Turn ignition key to “OFF”.
