• Start‑Up:
  • Attach drive unit to beam.
  • Turn petrol switch ON.
  • Switch power ON.
  • Pull recoil to start engine.
  • Close choke (open airflow).
• Running:
  • Beam guided with ropes by one operator at each end.
  • Ensure beam remains level during operation.
• Stopping:
  • Switch power OFF.
  • Turn petrol switch OFF.
• Refuelling:
  • Engine must be OFF.
  • No smoking or phone use.
  • Handle fuel cap safely; keep breather hole clear.

Safety Requirements

• Eye Protection: Must be worn during operation.
• Hand Protection: Gloves required.
• General PPE: Industrial steel‑toe footwear recommended.
• Do’s and Don’ts:
  • Place beam ends on planks, not directly on concrete.
  • Never force machine against pulley rotation.
